Few places can compete with the beauty of Northern Arizona. Iconic locations in this area include the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. These three locations will be the focus of our two day, two night workshop.

We will tour the slot canyons of Antelope Canyon the first day before traveling to the Grand Canyon to photograph the sunset and the night sky. The second day will feature sunset at Horseshoe Bend and another night of stars over the Grand Canyon. There will also be editing classes each day that will help you get the exact images you are looking for.

The cost of transportation to and from shooting locations is included. You are responsible for your travel to and from Page.

The cost of lodging is not included in the workshop, so participants may look for their own hotel deal. Classes will be taught at the Holiday Inn Express in Page, Arizona. It is not required you book here, but this is where we will embark on our shoots.

We will take a photography tour of the slot canyons at Antelope Canyon. The cost of this tour is $125 and is not included in the cost of the workshop.

Learn to light your foreground to produce dramatic night images.

You will leave this workshop with a thorough understanding of what it takes to create dynamic landscape images during the day and night. The Arizona Canyons Workshop will give you the foundation you need to go out, setup a camera, and take awe inspiring landscape pictures. We will then build on that knowledge and teach you some of the finer nuances of landscape photography, including how to edit your pictures. You will leave with a great portfolio of American West landscape images in just two days.
