Good afternoon, Cliff. I am very excited for our one-on-one workshop. I know a ton of incredible locations for us to shoot. We will focus on the deserts of West Texas with incredibly dark skies and endless compelling foregrounds.

The schedule I have included is for April 20th-24th. We would spend the 25th driving you to Oklahoma City. If at that point you decide you would like to fill your time before your storm chasing tour with a couple extra nights shooting with me, we can add that on. I will keep those days on my schedule open regardless.

We will have a mostly illuminated moon during our workshop. This is a good thing as it will help light our foregrounds. It will set progressively later each night through the last week of April as the full moon falls on April 29th. If you want to get Milky Way images, I suggest closer to April 20th-26th, as you will have a setting moon to your west and a rising Milky Way to your east. On April 20th, the moon sets at midnight. This is ideal for astrophotography landscapes with the buildings and rock formations we will utilize for our foregrounds. The moon sets roughly 45 minutes later each night. We can shoot the Milky Way until April 27, but it will require progressively later shoots. After the 27th, the moon will be in front of the Milky Way and will wash it out.
