The last total solar eclipse in the United States occurred in 1979. Don't risk capturing images of this once in a lifetime event to chance. Join photographer Jason Weingart on a three day photographic workshop which will help you prepare for and photograph the total solar eclipse.
While many workshops have already chosen locations in the path of totality, ours will be hosted from a location just outside the path. This way reservations can be finalized just before the event, so we can be sure the sky conditions will be optimal for viewing the eclipse. Reservations that can be cancelled have already been made at each city, so no worries, we won't be camping.
Location options are as follows...
1. Knoxville, Tennesse Country Inn & Suites (shoots will occur near Great Smokey Mountains National Park)
2. Topeka, Kansas Country Inn & Suites (shoots will occur in country scenes)
3. Augusta, Georgia Holiday Inn (shoots will occur at water scenes)
You will be responsible for getting to the base city. Lodging and transportation to and from each shoot are included in the cost.

August 20, 2017

*exact times to be determined by base city, sky quality, etc. Precise itinerary will be given no less than 7 days prior to the workshop.
